Sand Casting Necklace Class

Create a one-of-a-kind necklace by casting a small object into solid metal using the sand casting method! This class is perfect for anyone curious about the magic of transforming everyday items into wearable art.

What to Bring:
Bring a small object to cast—something with an interesting texture or shape that is no bigger than 1.5inches. Think along the lines of a piece of pasta (like bowtie), a cool shell, a small toy, an acorn, or a unique button. Your object doesn’t need to be heat-safe, and it won’t be damaged or altered during the process—it simply creates an impression in the sand that we’ll use for casting. I will also have some objects to pick from if you are struggling to find something at home.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to make a mold using sand casting techniques

  • How to pour molten metal safely

  • How to clean, finish, and turn your casting into a necklace

You’ll leave with a finished piece that’s totally personal and full of character.

All materials are provided, including metal for one necklace.
No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and something fun to cast!
