Meet The Maker

My name is Skyler, though most friends call me Sky.

I’ve been making jewelry my whole life. I love the process of transforming a simple sheet of metal into something new and beautiful. I find my flow working long days at the bench where my material, be it silver or gold, provides direct feedback as I saw, file, and solder. I strive to make jewelry that is so comfortable that you will never want to take it off.

At age 10, I started my first jewelry business selling beaded necklaces from a street corner on a small island off the coast of Massachusetts. Through high school, I attended “metalsmithing club” every Wednesday afternoon and quickly developed a love for the craft while also working as an assistant bench jeweler in Portland, Maine. Around this time, a mentor planted the seed that learning these skills could change my life. She was right.

Fast forward to today -- after earning a BA in studio art, working for years as a teacher, and casually building up my ring inventory -- I decided to take a leap and turn my lifelong sidegig and passion into my full-time job.

I believe that the jewelry we wear becomes part of our identities and can remind us of the beauty in our lives. I want to inspire you to wear your jewelry with intention and to slow down and enjoy all the little moments in life. My jewelry is made with love and care, and I hope you feel that when you wear it.

I use high-quality materials such as sterling silver, gold, and natural gemstones to craft earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings that are both elegant and whimsical. Each piece of jewelry is crafted with recycled metal and made to withstand your active lifestyle.
