Tyron Turquoise Center Stone
Inspired by the wild range of landscapes across Arizona, this ring series captures three distinct desert environments—each one entirely different, yet all within just a couple hours' drive.
From north to south, the land transforms in a way that never stops amazing me. I set out to translate that feeling into metal—these rings are my interpretation of that shifting terrain. Each section of the design was hand-drawn before being brought to life in sterling silver.
High Desert – Kachina Peaks (Flagstaff)
Cool air and the quiet presence of the mountains.
Mid Desert – Cathedral Rock (Sedona)
Iconic red rock formations shaped by time, light, and erosion.
Low Desert – Saguaro & Prickly Pear
Sun-soaked, resilient, and unmistakably Arizona.
I chose turquoise for this series because it simply felt right. It brings color, depth, and a sense of place that ties the whole piece back to the Southwest.
Tyron Turquoise is one of the Southwest's most sought-after turquoise varieties, mined in New Mexico. It is known for its rich blue to blue-green hues woven together with warm brown matrix that gives each stone incredible depth and character. The natural patterns often resemble winding desert washes, rugged cliffs, and weathered canyon walls, making every cabochon a one-of-a-kind landscape in its own right.
Each ring is one-of-a-kind, just like the environments that inspired it.
