Kingman Turquoise Bloom Ring — Size 6

This one-of-a-kind ring features my Bloom band design, inspired by the bold shapes and high-contrast style of relief printmaking. Although this design was created as a drawing rather than a print, I approached it with the same mindset I use when designing a relief print—thinking about strong silhouettes, carved shapes, and how light and shadow interact.

Using laser engraving, I was able to translate that original drawing directly into sterling silver while preserving every line and detail. The floral pattern wraps around the entire band, creating a design that feels organic, textured, and full of life. The result is a ring that blends my love of printmaking, drawing, and metalsmithing into a single piece.

About the stone:

Kingman Turquoise comes from the historic Kingman Mine in northwestern Arizona, one of the oldest and most well-known turquoise mines in the United States. It is celebrated for its vibrant sky-blue color, often accented by distinctive black or brown matrix that makes every stone unique. Highly prized by jewelers and collectors alike, Kingman Turquoise has become an iconic gemstone of the American Southwest, carrying with it a rich history and a strong connection to the desert landscapes that inspire my work.

The Kingman Turquoise Bloom Ring celebrates the connection between drawing, printmaking, and metalsmithing. From a hand-drawn design inspired by relief printing to a one-of-a-kind Arizona gemstone, every element of this ring reflects my love of creating wearable art rooted in nature.
