Emerald Valley Turquoise Ring — Size 9

This one-of-a-kind turquoise ring features a new band design that began as a hand-drawn sketch—florals and leaves inspired by time spent wandering outside. I translated that drawing directly into metal using laser engraving, allowing the linework to stay true to the original marks.

The result is a band that feels illustrative and detailed while still holding onto the organic, imperfect quality of a drawing. The pattern wraps all the way around, adding texture, depth, and a sense of movement to the piece.

About the stone:

Emerald Valley Turquoise is admired for its rich blue-green to emerald-green hues, often accented by earthy brown or black matrix. Its vibrant color is reminiscent of desert oases and lush valleys hidden among rugged landscapes. Each cabochon has its own unique patterns and natural variations, making every stone—and every ring—completely one of a kind.

This ring brings together two parts of my process—drawing and metalsmithing—capturing both in a single piece. A small, wearable translation of something first created on paper.
