White Water Wildflower Ring — Size 7

This one-of-a-kind turquoise ring features a new band design that began as a hand-drawn sketch—florals and leaves inspired by time spent wandering outside. I translated that drawing directly into metal using laser engraving, allowing the linework to stay true to the original marks.

The result is a band that feels illustrative and detailed while still holding onto the organic, imperfect quality of a drawing. The pattern wraps all the way around, adding texture, depth, and a sense of movement to the piece.

About the stone:

White Water Turquoise is known for its vivid blue color and striking dark matrix, giving each stone a bold, natural character. Mined in Nevada, every cabochon has its own unique pattern, making each ring truly one of a kind. The rich blues and rugged matrix evoke the colors and textures of the Southwest, bringing a little piece of the desert to your hand.

This ring brings together two parts of my process—drawing and metalsmithing—capturing both in a single piece. A small, wearable translation of something first created on paper.
