Cloud Mountain Wildflower Ring — Size 6

This one-of-a-kind turquoise ring features a new band design that began as a hand-drawn sketch—florals and leaves inspired by time spent wandering outside. I translated that drawing directly into metal using laser engraving, allowing the linework to stay true to the original marks.

The result is a band that feels illustrative and detailed while still holding onto the organic, imperfect quality of a drawing. The pattern wraps all the way around, adding texture, depth, and a sense of movement to the piece.

About the stone:

Cloud Mountain Turquoise is prized for its vibrant blue and blue-green hues accented by intricate brown and black matrix. Mined in China, this turquoise is known for its dramatic webbing and unique patterns that often resemble mountain ranges, winding rivers, or clouds drifting across the sky. Every stone is naturally unique, ensuring no two rings are ever exactly alike.

This ring brings together two parts of my process—drawing and metalsmithing—capturing both in a single piece. A small, wearable translation of something first created on paper.
