Ruby Bloom Ring — Size 8
This one-of-a-kind ring features my Bloom band design, inspired by the bold shapes and high-contrast style of relief printmaking. Although this design was created as a drawing rather than a print, I approached it with the same mindset I use when designing a relief print—thinking about strong silhouettes, carved shapes, and how light and shadow interact.
Using laser engraving, I was able to translate that original drawing directly into sterling silver while preserving every line and detail. The floral pattern wraps around the entire band, creating a design that feels organic, textured, and full of movement. The result is a ring that blends my love of printmaking, drawing, and metalsmithing into a single piece.

About the stone:
Ruby is one of the world's most treasured gemstones, celebrated for its rich shades of red that range from deep crimson to vibrant raspberry. A variety of the mineral corundum, ruby has long been associated with passion, vitality, and courage. Every natural ruby has its own unique inclusions and color variations, giving each stone an individual character and making every ring truly one of a kind.
The Ruby Bloom Ring celebrates the connection between drawing, printmaking, and metalsmithing. From a hand-drawn design inspired by relief printing to a vibrant natural gemstone, every element of this ring reflects my love of creating wearable art rooted in nature.
