Exploring Flagstaff: Art, Nature, and Local Favorites
Flagstaff is a town full of inspiration, from mountains and sunsets to a vibrant local art scene. Whether you’re visiting or a local looking for new ways to explore, here are some of my favorite spots and activities in Flagstaff.
1. Collect Mini Art Prints
Look for my mini print vending machines around town, filled with small, original art prints. My Flagstaff-themed prints are available at Northend Consignment, and my cozy plant prints can be found at Plantae. It’s an easy way to take home a little piece of Flagstaff creativity.

2. Food and Drink Favorites
Flagstaff has plenty of great spots for meals and drinks. I love Foret for brunch—it’s cozy, welcoming, and delicious. For lunch, check out Sosta, and for dinner or a casual evening out, Dark Sky Brewery is perfect. Soon, there will even be another mini print vending machine at Dark Sky, so you can grab a print along with your pint!
3. Museum of Northern Arizona
If you enjoy art and history, the Museum of Northern Arizona is a must-visit. I especially love exploring their collection of Native jewelry, which is both beautiful and inspiring. It’s a great place to learn about local culture and craftsmanship.
4. Take a Metalsmithing Class (with me haha)
Flagstaff is a wonderful place to try your hand at making jewelry. Taking a metalsmithing class lets you get hands-on experience, and it’s a fun way to combine creativity with learning. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, there’s always something new to explore at the bench.
5. Outdoor Adventures
Buffalo Park is perfect for a sunset walk, offering some of the best views of the skies in town. It's also a great place to look at the stars if you're up for a night time walk.
Flagstaff is also a skiing destination, with slopes often open from Thanksgiving through May. Whether walking, skiing, or exploring, the outdoors offers endless inspiration and breathtaking scenery.

6. Experience Local Creativity
Downtown Flagstaff is full of art galleries, so it’s worth taking a walk and checking them all out—I’d wander through them all myself! It’s so fun to explore, wonder, and be inspired by the work of local artists. There are also lots of murals around town, adding even more color and creativity to the streets. Between galleries and murals, there’s endless inspiration waiting just around the corner.
Flagstaff is more than just a destination—it’s a place to explore, create, and be inspired. From scenic walks and skiing to cozy restaurants, museums, and mini print machines, there’s always something new to discover.
